After a few years of respite, once again was organised a fashion afternoon in Portorož. At the traditional meeting of business partners from more than 20 countries at the Grand Hotel Bernardin, we presented fashion trends that will captivate our attention next year. The diverse collection was designed by our fashion designers Melita Letnar, Suzana Gorišek, Maja Nedič and Sofija Urumović, under the leadership of creative director Maja Ratajc and development director Janja Tratar. Although the event was primarily intended for business partners from abroad, we also noticed some well-known Slovenian influencers (celebrities) in the front rows.
So, what kind of fashion inspiration awaits us next spring and summer?
As we expect from the swimwear collection, this one brings a refreshed fashion mix of floral patterns, animal prints and monochrome variations for the beach… The swimwear collection for summer 2023 is unique, bold and special yet again. It makes us look deep inside ourselves and dare to express our true essence on the beach - whether it is wild or harmoniously pure.
The lingerie collection will please us with its tenderness and romance next year. Of course, we can't do without refined details - whether it's the fastening, the transparency or the luxurious embroidery. But this collection puts us first, the women - and our feelings. A diverse selection of refreshing eye-catchers as well as those comfortable, tried-and-true pieces that we keep coming back to - but in new versions that bring refreshing fashion, while maintaining a balance between strong, energetic colours, trendy two-tone accents and soft pastel shades.
This year’s fashion show not only unveiled a completely new collection for spring and summer 2023, but also reminded us that we can step out of the box, listen to ourselves and change the world - even if it’s just the world around us. And the fact that fashion is intended for all body figures, the ones with more or less curves, was evident by the choice of girls who walked the catwalk.
